Subject: Way to go!
I have followed the lives of Jane and her uh, friends
since I stumbled
on the site by accident well over a year ago. As social
commentary the
strip is good, as entertainment it is great, as both, it
has become a
must read for me every day (at least at work, where I
can get to the
computer).
I know that when people begin to see your strip in more
newspapers they
will assume you are an "overnight" success
thing. I for one
appreciate
the years of "overnight work".

Paige!
I just discovered your website via Rhymes w/Orange.
What a trip! (I love the outfit in your photo......)
Congrats on your move up in the world - I will continue
to check out your
strips now that I know you're out there.
Any chance the Boston Globe would carry Jane? I'll send
them a letter if
you suggest.....
Kathy
Note to Jane readers: Rhymes With Orange is a great,
quirky strip drawn by
my pal Hilary Price. You should definitely check it out.

Subject: Wishing all possible congratulations!
I read your note on joining United Features Syndicate!
I'm very impressed
and amazed - I never thought that any of the mainstream
syndicates would
take on a gay-centric strip. I may have missed something
but I don't think
any of them have one yet. I do hope that they don't
stick you with any
really odious restrictions of content.
I 'found' your strip recently on a random browsing trip,
and promptly sat
down to spend the night reading all the archives - took
almost two full days
(I had a weekend). I really enjoyed it and am adding you
to my 'regularly
read' list. I'm very happy that you'll now (hopefully)
be seeing some real
remuneration (sp?) for your work.
Again, all congradulations and kudos!

i didn't really think there would be a comic out
there about lesbians who like gen 13, star wars and
wonder woman. i thought i was the only one out there. :)
i just have to say that i wish i had heard about this
strip when it was created. you do a wonder
job...continue the good work.
peace,
ann

Dear Paige:
I just wanted to express to you again how much I
truly enjoy your Jane series. Your storyline is funny
and relevent, and you are an incredibly talented artist.
Your drawings are expressive and energetic - your strip
actually seems alive.
I am a graphic artist who always wanted to be a
cartoonist, so I appreciate the talent and hard work I
know you dedicate to Jane. Is this something that is
profitable to you? I hope it is so that you will
continue to share your wonderful imagination and talent
for a long time!
Your Fan,
Colleen

First off, I love "Jane's World". It is one
of the few sites I visit everyday (OK, every weekday). I
am thoroughly enjoying the antics of the entire gang.
How sad, then, that the strips for 9/6 and 9/7 are the
same....
I hope it was because you took Monday off for a
holiday.... but a selfish part of me hopes there's
another strip that just hasn't been uploaded to the site
& I'll have a treat soon.
Thanks for sharing Jane with the rest of us.

PAIGE!!
STOP!!!
I can't take it anymore!!!
JanesWorld is waaayyyy too good. I'm constantly on
the edge of my chair!
What is going to happen with Rick and Mia's little
plot? What is Ethan going to do about Dorothy's
"wild night"?
Why won't you do a morning *and* evening strip *every
day* so I can find this stuff out sooner???? :) :)
Still lovin' JanesWorld!
Have a great weekend!
