Subject: the new look and comics.com
paige,
I was checking out Peanuts, when I saw Janes World on
comics.com. I was
so excited to see it! Congrats on the new publicity!
Also, I wanted to
say that the new website looks great. It's been a while
since I've
read the comic (my computer was kaput for a while), so I
was glad to see
that your archive is still up and running! Keep up the
good work!

Hey, Paige! Lay off the paramedics!
(tee hee) Or maybe the chick with the paddles was one of
those scary folks with the scanner, who show up and
haunt you at (it seems like) every scene. Wouldn't it be
funny if the real paramedics showed up and hauled Jane
off to the hospital to treat her for electrical
burns.....and if Ms Wannabe the fake medic showed up at
every emergency call henceforth. (Fake firefighter, fake
cop, fake hazardous material handler in the silver
suit...)
I dunno. Just suggesting an alternative to offending all
the beautiful dyke medics out there.
Peace,
Kirsten

Hi Paige,
I'm pretty sure I haven't actually emailed you since
Janesworld moved to comics.com, although I've thought
about
it numerous times. Just wanted to say that its fantastic
you're getting more exposure and hopefully this will
lead to
bigger and better things!
Re the story line, I just got back from a few weeks away
from a computer (will wonders never cease) and read the
latest strips with great interest - I do love Alexa, and
especially the way today's ended - "who's natalie?"
heh
heh heh.
Of course I'm looking forward to seeing Sarah back
again. You haven't cut her out have you?! Must be
difficult giving all the characters a run though. Having
never attempted _anything_ like a comic, I'm just
guessing
here :)
All the best,
leigh

Hi Paige, I just stumbled onto your strip as a result of
an e-mail from comics.com.
Wonderful strip. I wish our paper would carry it. Until
then I'll read the e-version. Thanks. Pat

Saw the blurb about this in the FoL newsletter, thought
I'd check it out. Love the art, characters seem cool,
although having not witnessed the chimp conversion,
possibly a bit bizarre, but in a good way.
best of luck.

organization to support women and girls in comics.)

I just discovered Jane's World - and i love it! Thanks
for bringing an alternate view of the world to light.

Hi Paige:
I love how you humourously accentuate the irritating
pretense of society that has contributed to the downfall
of REAL coffeehouses. In the early 80's those
coffeehouses in Cambridge were a haven for lesbians,
foreign students and artists who were not accepted by
the norm. Fifteen years later those irritating fucks
(who were once content to drink Maxwell House) started
to frequent those places wanting their decaf latte
whippucinos. One of these days I am going to ask one of
them if they remember eating Chef Boyardee and Mrs Pauls
fishsticks. It's annoying to be Italian and when these
yuppies try to tell me what Polenta is. I love
correcting them when I reveal to that it's the
Italian-American form of gravy and grits!

Great Strip, wish it were in the regular papers.

LOVE the strip today. I can totally relate. I keep
meeting decaf soy chai
lattes, and all I want is a cup of Maxwell House, cream
and sugar totally
optional.

Paige,
I enjoy your comic. Is there any possibility that we'll
see women kissing
in the future?
What about less clothes for the cuter women?
