Dear Paige,

Aaauuuggghhh!

Today's (3/2/04) plot twist was pure evil. Dorothy was so coming on
to Jane.
And Jane, she makes the tough decision to stop being passive, and look what
happens. Sigh...

Thank you for bringing Jane's World into our world. I love the strip. I just
recently discovered the comic, I haven't had time to read them yet, but I
bought issues 2-7 right away and I have to catch up to the current issue.
They didn't have anymore of the first issue. I'm looking forward to some down
time when I can just sit and read them all. I discovered Jane's World in 1997
and have been an addicted reader ever since. At the Dyke March in San Diego
last year I met someone named Amber. I think that was her name. She was
associated with a booth with Jane's World posters. I gushed about
your comic.
She said she would pass on the good words.
Okay, this has gotten a little long. I'll stop here and just say that I am
looking forward to where this latest plot line takes Jane.

Thank you,
Sharen E.

I would hope the todays strip was done for comic relief, and are not
representations of letters recieved from the male gender. I enjoy the strip as
it presents the alternative side of life in todays oft complex world.

Good Luck

Wrote a while back and said I liked the strip. Todays is probably going to be
my favorite. I love the way your strip is at the same time, "real" and
"unreal". Keep them coming back for more. And in the words of Joni Mitchell,
"don't give yourself away".

I've been following Jane's World for about a month, and I love it. I love the
drawing, and I like the characters and incidents too. You draw limerance
better than anyone else I know.

I'm a 54-year-old straight guy, and I like reading about people who are
different from myself. Rock on!

Greetings Paige,
I very much enjoy your work! Great story-lines and character development. My
kind of comic, true to life and yet very funny and entertaining.
I think we all have a bit of Jane within us. Even though I am a true to life
"Ethan".
Congratulations, I will keep an eye out for your stuff in the comic book
stores.
best regards

- Sam

Ms. Braddock,

I just came across your strip yesterday, and immediately fell in love
with the writing, timing, and interpersonal relationships. I read
everything in the archives, and cannot wait to get my hands on the
collection. Your strip has now moved up with Get Fuzzy in my daily
reading requirements. Thanks again for the entertainment, and best
of luck in this endeavor.

Hi there!

I wanted to say that I really enjoy your strip. I discovered it on-line, and

I've since found that Jane's World and For Better or Worse are the only two
strips I anticipate with baited breath their coming out the next day. I
really enjoy the characters and the lighthearted look at life you portray.
Poor Jane can barely catch a break, but you can't help but love her.

Don't want a long editorial or anything. I just wanted you to know that you
have a rather devoted fan over here in Texas. I'm buying the compiliations so
I can share them with my less technically inclined friends who don't seem to
know what the 'Favorites' button is for. ;p

<great big hugs>

Thank you for a smiling moment every day.

Chris

Hello,

My friend Scott, in California, suggested I read your strip and drop
you a line. I'm the firefighter that lives in the Pacific (and I
think he added that I have no sex life; nice that he considers that a
part of my identity, eh?)

I'm rather enjoying the archives, thank you. I've been locked in a
building with ten men (and a rat that's eating my soap) for three
days now. I needed some comic relief!

N.

(Note from Jane's World: a word from the right, folks. Just a little
reality check... Just when you thought it was safe to be yourself.
Hey... Here at JW we post the good, the bad, and the ugly... Case in
point.)

I am deeply troubled by your filth that you call a comic strip. The level of
inappropriateness and vulgarity is shocking. I will never again read your
strip and purchase any of your products.
