Comics Worth Reading

Johanna Draper Carlson’s great comic review site just posted a review of Jane’s World Vol. 6 in case anyone wants to check it out… and while you’re there, if you haven’t been to this site already, you should stay and read for a while. Johanna has lots of great reviews and fan feedback to help you find comics worth reading.

Jane & Jane magazine and other points of interest

Some of you may already know this, but I’ve been doing a full-page, color comic feature in each new issue of Jane & Jane Magazine. This has all been happening electronically, until today. The dynamic duo that started the magazine was in Sonoma County today delivering the newest issue and we met up at a brewing company in downtown Santa Rosa. When you’ve been emailing and doing phone time with people it’s nice to finally meet them in person and discover that they’re as nice as you thought they would be. Debbie and Alison (in photo) posed for a “phone capture” between hot (HOT) wings and cold beverages. The only person missing from this gathering was the magazine’s editor, LaRita (sorry you couldn’t join us!). Anyway, all this to say if you haven’t checked out this stylish new lesbian mag, you might what to give it a chance. Oh yeah, and Comic Con is quickly approaching. I’ll get some info up soon about where Jane’s World will be at the con. Cheers!
